Yes, this is definitely driver issue because problem isn't presented in Windows 8 which has MS USB 3.0 driver, not Intel.

I've backed up W7 installation with Acronis and performed clean install of Win 8.ДЄfter installation (Win 8) I've just installed Intel chipset, LAN, Intel MEI and joystick drivers + demo of Flight Simulator X and. Next logical step was trying to install Windows 8. Normally, without USB 3.0 driver, I've lost USB 3.0 functionality. After this, with enabled xHCI, I was able to use all USB ports without system freeze.

To this discovery I came after I've uninstalled Intel USB 3.0 driver in Windows 7 and after that I've enabled xHCI in BIOS. It seems that (Microsoft) Windows 8 has better USB 3.0 driver than Intel. It seems that the biggest confusion for me was that the problem was present in BIOS. I'm obliged to say that the problem is not presented in Windows 8 and not in BIOS. However, AI Suite can control these fans but 60% is lower limit or 4500 rpm, beyond this fan simply wont run. In other words, it's very different from the Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS that I've been using, in that it has no zero point in the middle. Specifically, pushing it all the way forward results in forward thrust or reverse thrust, depending on whether one of the buttons has been pressed to enable either forward or reverse.

The one thing I'm not getting though, is the way the throttle works. but I got that all worked out and got it set up the way I want it more or less, and it seems to all be working just fine.
